Teaching High School English!!!

Today marked the first day of my 'proper official' teaching career! After spending much of Term 2 doing relief teaching at Broome Senior High School, and making no secret of my passion for English, they offered me a one-term contract, teaching English to classes in Years 7, 9 and 11 at Broome Senior High School.  
It's only day one...but... I can't describe how much I love it.  I love it all. I love planning learning experiences, I love teaching students, I love seeing different personalities everyday and helping to shape their identity as learners (what a powerful position we teachers hold). I love working in a space where knowledge and learning and growth are so revered.  
I feel privileged beyond belief that this is my life.
