Australian Professional Standards for Teachers

The Australian Professional Standards for Teaching (APST) provide a public statement of what constitutes quality teaching in Australia.  The standards define the work of teachers and make explicit the elements of high-quality, effective teaching in 21st century schools, ultimately resulting in improved educational outcomes for students. This professional portfolio uses the APST as a structure by which to represent evidence of my evolution from graduate to fully proficient teacher.
